Elicio is a dynamic international producer of green energy, and uses one of earth’s most abundant and inexhaustible resources to generate that clean energy: wind! Counting Europe’s leading energy providers amongst its customer base, Elicio generates on- and-offshore wind energy, by developing, contracting and building best-in-class wind farms. With more than 70 employees, we operate in 5 countries in Europe (Belgium, France, Spain, Serbia, and Scotland).
Elicio recognises its people and stakeholder relationships as key assets which enable the delivery of development expertise, operational excellence and long term outstanding exploitation of its wind farms across Europe. Our vision is to strive for a more sustainable future by developing and generating even more pure, clean energy.
Mestrèl is the third floating offshore wind project jointly developed by the two companies, which have already pre-qualified for a tender in Southern Brittany, as well as been awarded the 960 MW NE8 site as part of the recent ScotWind tender earlier this year. The consortium is one of the few to present itself under the same banner for the AO5 and AO6 tenders.
Dragana Gajic, Head of Accounting of Elicio Serbia, is a member of the Green Women’s network and a proud ambassador, an initiative of Embassy of Canada to Serbia and OIE Srbija. As part of the project, The Green Women's Network interviewed Dragana, to promote women to be more active in the renewable energy industry.
Together with our CORDOBA project partners, we organised a stakeholder workshop and networking lunch on Thursday 20 October in Ostend, followed by a visit to our offshore wind farm Norther. It was a very informative and productive day, where knowledge institutions and companies interacted, had interesting discussions, and in the end... found each other's fresh ideas. Ready to shape the project further.
